About Me

Hi, I'm Stephen (stephentime9).

I retired from paid employment at the end of 2019. Retirement has given me the opportunity to pursue some of the things I, along with Margaret, (my wife), have wanted to do for some time. This website has been created so that I can share some of these things.

We have an elderly motorhome, who we call Sheldon. Our plan is to explore the UK and Europe with Sheldon and to blog and vlog about our adventures. Sometimes, though, the dream of traveling to exciting far-off places can mean that we neglect, what is on our doorstep. Therefore, we also intend to get to know our local area, which is Suffolk and is situated on the east side of England. Another part of the site is what I've called 'At Home'. In this, I want to invite you into our home and to share some of the things which happen there.

Another important part of my life is my Christian faith. Coming from a Christian home, I have sought to follow the teachings and example of Jesus. I try to live my faith out in my day to day life and am an active member of my local Methodist Church. I want to share  my faith  on this site and I have therefore opened another page on it called 'Just a Thought.' I hope you'll also find these posts helpful and thought provoking.
